Tomorrow is the beginning of Lent (February 14, 2018). Often, those of Christian faith choose to give up something for 40 days.
If you are looking for an alternative way to celebrate Lent, we ask that you consider helping MAM restock its Home Care Cupboard. Collect one item in a bag each day for 40 days, and then donate those items to MAM after Easter. These can be extra items you may already have in your home or items you pick up on your regular shopping trip.
Donating to the MAM Home Care Cupboard for Lent
MAM offers a variety of items that can help to stretch a family budget. Volunteers then put together packs of items to give to families who come in for assistance in times of crisis. Families may receive a Home Care Pack or Toiletry Kit, depending on their need.
Donations can be dropped off at the MAM Services desk or at the Resale Donation door. Please prominently mark your bag/box with "MAM Cupboard"
